Terms & Conditions - the basics

At Golden Rule Construction, we aim for clear communication on every project. We accept payments through QuickBooks online or by physical checks made out to our business. All payment schedules will be outlined in your specific project quote and must be followed to keep work on schedule. If you need to cancel or pause a project, please provide written notice as soon as possible; however, please note that any materials already purchased or work completed must be paid for in full. We take pride in our workmanship and promise to maintain a safe, clean job site, while we ask our clients to provide clear access to the property and timely decisions on finishes to avoid delays. Our goal is to build your dream project with total transparency and mutual respect.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
